The Bowflex treadmill, priced from $999.00 to $1300.00, is highly recommended by many. It offers ease of use and has a large walking and running surface.

Weighing in at 298 pounds, the Bowflex treadmill is characterized as an intense cardio workout system with a powerful horsepower.  It includes more than 15 workout programs (depending upon the series you purchase), and offers a wide range of options.

Options include: manual, cardio, fat burn, speed interval jogger, hill intervals, heart strength/recovery test, calorie goal, distance goal, cardio heart rate calculation, body mass index, and programs to personalize your total body workout.

For those who have little space area in their home, the Bowflex folds up for easy storage.  Among the other peripherals offered are a built-in 3-speed fan, two bottle holders, and quick-speed keys for your comfort and ease of use.  

There is a 15 year warranty for the frame, a 10 year motor warranty, and two years parts and one year labor.

One drawback to the Bowflex is that it requires home assembly. However, all the tools required for assembly are included and the process should only take about an hour.  Also note that it is advisable to place the treadmill in one room and not move it around, as you may have a problem getting it through the door frame. 

Because some may find all of the available features to be a bit confusing, it is recommended to thoroughly read the manual and become familiar with the Bowflex before using it. 

As with all Bowflex equipment, their treadmills are quite sturdy and are built to have a long life.  Before purchasing, you will probably want to research the different series to determine which one would be best for your and your home.  The available Bowflex series are #3, #5, and #7, with #7 being the most expensive.
